Childlike Faith
Luke 18:16-17, But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Solomon was a child when he became king over Israel and Judah. He didn’t know how to go in and out of God’s people. So, when the Lord came to him, he asked for an understanding heart to discern from good and bad. God granted him the wisdom that he asked for. Solomon could have asked for riches, long life or the lives of his enemies, but he sought God for something that would be pleasing in God’s sight and further edify the kingdom of God.
Jesus told the disciples to allow the children to come to Him because of their innocence. He said that we will not enter into the kingdom of God unless we come childlike. Not only do we need to come to the Lord like a child but we need to have a childlike faith. Remember back when you were a child and someone would tell you that they had something for you and would bring it to you. You didn’t doubt them; you didn’t waver in your faith that they were going to bring you that something they promised. This is how we are to be with our faith. We need to trust the Lord when we pray, don’t doubt that He will do what we have asked of Him (as long as this is in His perfect will), and not waiver in our faith.
Let’s go back to our childlike faith in Christ
