This is a series of self-help books for Christians. Self-help or self-improvement books are aimed toward helping you solve a problem. However, majority of them neglect to include God in the equation. Positive thinking and overcoming issues are wonderful, but truth be told, without Christ we will never be whole. It is only when He is included in our growth or healing that we are guaranteed to be completely whole.

While sitting in a Women’s Bible Study Fellowship, our women’s president said something to us that I found profound. She said, “We bury that issue and instead of addressing it we just keep adding dirt to it, trying to pack it down further. But just like a weed will eventually sprout up through the soil, that issue will peek out from the dirt.” And she is absolutely correct. Most of us were probably told to “rub dirt on it,” but instead we buried that matter or feeling.

The purpose of this series is to remove the dirt from our problems and address these issues that are ready to peek out and wreak havoc in our lives if they have not already done so.
